137,000 square feet of curtainwall
Ventana supplied and installed 137,000 square-feet of exterior curtain wall of this 510,000-square-foot building. Floors 3-12 of the building utilize Ventana’s MWS-180 (Modular Wall System 180) with customized profiles specific to the clients needs. MWS-180 is a prefabricated, shop-glazed, unitized curtain wall system that uses SBZ50 low-E coating with custom silk screen patterns and custom spandrel glass integrated into the unitized curtain wall panels. In addition, Cenia Limestone (from Spain) is integrated into the project for the inside returns and the parapet, within our unitized curtain wall panels.
This 12-story office building is for Washington University School of Medicine and BJC HealthCare on their growing medical campus in the Central West End of St. Louis. The 510,000-square-foot building includes a full basement and is located next to the Central West End MetroLink station and consolidates medical offices currently housed at the Barnes-Jewish Center for Outpatient Health and across the Washington University medical campus community.
